The Laundry Worker role at HCSG is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility setting. As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal clothing to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff. This position involves operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to infection control and universal precautions policies. Additionally, Laundry Workers maintain accurate records of laundry activities, report maintenance or safety issues, and provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
