The Laundry/Valet Attendant role at Four Seasons Houston is integral to delivering the highest level of guest service through expert garment care. This full-time position typically operates on morning shifts, with occasional evening shifts, including required availability on weekends and holidays. The Laundry/Valet Attendant is responsible for processing all guest laundry requests, including pressing, cleaning, dry-cleaning, spot cleaning, and repairs. Operating specialized machinery such as dry cleaning machines, washers, and dryers, the attendant ensures all items are handled to Four Seasons exacting standards.

Key tasks involve using the correct chemical applications, employing the hotel’s tagging system for all laundry items, and meticulous attention to garment labels and instructions to preserve the quality and appearance of each item. The role demands keen attention to detail to remove spots and stains efficiently and report any damaged garments promptly to management. Steaming, pressing, and touching up garments professionally is a daily routine expected of this role, all performed in line with Four Seasons’ superior standards.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for laundry work, the ability to operate independently, and preferably some previous experience in luxury hotel laundry or valet services, although this is not mandatory.
