Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist
- Able to stand for long periods
- Able to work with chemicals according to directions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong leadership skills
- Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning and implementation of work tasks
Job Duties
- Schedule laundry department staff
- Arrange and conduct training for new and current employees
- Oversee laundry personnel to ensure timely washing, drying, folding, and storage of linens
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry areas
- Keep mechanical equipment clean and well-maintained
- Report mechanical problems to engineering
- Provide performance feedback and coaching to housekeeping team
- Ensure laundry chemicals are stocked and properly connected to equipment
- Conduct monthly linen inventory
