Delaware North prides itself in fostering a welcoming work environment that supports career growth and personal development for its team members. With a rich heritage dating back more than 100 years, the company continues to expand its legacy by offering unique opportunities in some of the most celebrated destinations globally.
One of Delaware North's premier properties is The Squire at the Grand Canyon, a Holiday Inn Resort located just minutes from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon in Tusayan, Arizona. The Laundry Manager role at Holiday Inn Squire Resort is vital to maintaining the high quality and efficiency that define Delaware North’s service standards. This position involves managing the daily operations of a busy commercial laundry facility servicing two large lodging properties with a combined total of 670 rooms. The Laundry Manager will oversee all processes related to linen and terry cleaning, including washing, drying, folding, and delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and cost effectiveness. This role is crucial to ensuring that guests enjoy clean, fresh linens, contributing directly to their overall satisfaction during their stay.
In addition to managing a team, the Laundry Manager will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting commercial laundry equipment, scheduling preventive maintenance, and collaborating with facilities staff and external vendors to ensure equipment reliability. The role also includes inventory control and ordering of detergents, chemicals, and supplies to meet operational needs without excessive costs. Implementing rigorous quality control measures and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards and Delaware North’s environmental protocols, are essential parts of the job.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $46,100 to $62,200 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and generous employee discounts at other properties. The opportunity provides career advancement potential within a respected global company and also includes manager housing at a reduced rental rate, with relocation assistance available for qualifying candidates.
