The Laundry Manager position plays a critical role in maintaining the resort’s quality and guest satisfaction by managing a high-volume commercial laundry operation. \n\nAs the Laundry Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the commercial laundry facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective processing of linens and terry. This includes managing staff, scheduling, and training to maintain alignment with company policies and safety regulations. You will be responsible for the maintenance and performance of commercial laundry equipment by coordinating preventive maintenance and troubleshooting operational issues. Additionally, you will manage inventory control for detergents, chemicals, and supplies, implement quality assurance processes, and foster a positive work environment geared towards operational excellence. Your role also includes budget collaboration, cost control, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and Delaware North’s GreenPath environmental regulations. Job Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years experience managing high-volume commercial laundry operations preferably in a hospitality environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong team leadership skills
Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and operational processes
Proficient in inventory control and scheduling software
Willingness to work flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to perform physical tasks including frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years experience managing high-volume commercial laundry operations preferably in a hospitality environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong team leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and processes with ability to troubleshoot equipment and operational issues
Proficient in inventory control and scheduling software
Willingness to work flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Oversee commercial laundry operations including washing, drying, folding, and delivery
Manage and train laundry staff ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards
Monitor equipment performance and schedule preventive maintenance with on-site facilities staff and third-party vendors
Maintain inventory of detergents, chemicals, and supplies
Implement quality assurance processes to meet client expectations
Schedule and maintain accurate records of employee hours and timely processing of weekly payroll
Collaborate on creating and managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing workflow
Ensure compliance with OSHA and Delaware North GreenPath environmental regulations
Communicate effectively with clients and resolve service issues promptly
