Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience with laundry and housekeeping operations
- Familiarity with laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handling procedures
- Good physical condition to perform manual tasks
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience with laundry operations including washing, drying, and folding techniques
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices in hospitality settings
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes for delicate fabrics or special items
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and well-maintained
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service standards
Job Duties
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines efficiently and safely
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Perform dry cleaning tasks on delicate or specialized items following established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning equipment and workspaces
- Ensure timely collection and distribution of clean linens to designated areas within the facility
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low
