Job Description

Columbia Hospitality is a premier national management and consulting company with over 25 years of expertise in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences. Their extensive portfolio encompasses award-winning hotels and resorts, premier residential communities, restaurants and bars, private and public golf clubs, conference centers, and unique venues that highlight their commitment to quality and innovation in hospitality management. Columbia Hospitality prides itself on fostering a people-first culture that emphasizes inclusion, respect, creativity, and excellence. Recognized consistently as one of the Top Companies to Work For in Washington by Seattle Business Magazine and Puget Sound Business Journal, the company is dedicated to creating a dynamic and nurturing work environment where its employees can thrive both personally and professionally.

The Wren, located in the vibrant heart of downtown Missoula, Montana, is one of Columbia Hospitality's distinguished properties. This boutique hotel offers 73 uniquely designed guestrooms that capture the spirit and culture of Missoula, providing guests with a perfect blend of local charm and modern comfort. With amenities such as a courtyard oasis and an indoor/outdoor café anchored by Black Coffee Roasting Co, The Wren serves as a welcoming hub for travelers seeking adventure and relaxation in the scenic Western Montana region. Executive meeting spaces add to the hotel's versatility by providing an excellent venue for business and social gatherings.

The Laundry Attendant role at The Wren offers an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven team that prioritizes exceptional service and an inclusive work culture. This hourly position pays $20 per hour and includes eligibility for tips and tip pooling. Employees have the advantage of getting paid daily and benefit from paid time off, holiday pay, and a comprehensive benefits package that covers medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401K retirement plans. Additionally, the company offers health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA) plans with employer contributions.

In this role, the Laundry Attendant will be responsible for laundering, altering, and repairing linens and towels to meet high standards, maintaining linen and towel par levels for all hotel operations, and managing damaged and stained linens effectively. The position requires sorting and preparing soiled linens for contracted laundry services as well as receiving and processing deliveries. Accurate record-keeping of laundry services and strict adherence to safety procedures are critical to success in this role. The work environment encourages collaboration, with attendants assisting fellow housekeeping team members as needed to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Columbia Hospitality’s commitment to a values-based culture is evident in its '#OMGLIFE' ethos, which fosters a positive employee experience through culture add initiatives that welcome fresh perspectives. The company supports employee growth through an online learning platform, offers an employee assistance program, and sponsors various volunteer, committee, and task force participation opportunities. Referral bonuses further incentivize team members to help grow this inclusive community. Employees also enjoy discounted rates on lodging, dining, spa, golf, retail, and travel, making this a well-rounded employment opportunity.

The Wren’s location and culture create a unique work environment where knowledgeable local guides assist guests in discovering the best that Missoula has to offer—from the perfect pint to outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, and water sports. This is an ideal base camp for those passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in a scenic and lively setting.

Overall, this position is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who want to be part of a supportive, growth-oriented company. It offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work in one of the best boutique hotels in a stunning Montana location. Columbia Hospitality values applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourages everyone excited about the role to apply, even if they do not meet every single qualification.
