Job Requirements
- Prior housekeeping experience is desirable
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to walk push pull bend kneel lift up to 50 pounds reach kneel and bend
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and use cleaning chemicals safely
- Availability to work holidays weekends or alternate shifts
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience is desirable
- Ability to operate laundry machinery
- Basic knowledge of safe work habits and the use of protective equipment
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Sort count and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering
- Load and unload washers and dryers
- Maintain equipment as trained
- Fold store and distribute towels and linens
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages
- Maintain clean work areas
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
