Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
Ability to operate laundry machinery safely
Ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate laundering techniques
Ability to lift and carry moderate weights
Good communication skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience operating laundry machinery preferred
Basic knowledge of fabric care and stain treatments
Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational skills

Job Duties

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps
Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard
Inspect cleanliness of articles removed from the washer, dryer, or dry cleaning machines and place in clean linen carts
Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics contained in load
Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after each load
Fold cleaned articles into designated size, either by hand or using folding machine
Maintain accurate records of items laundered
