This specific opportunity is at the Candlewood Suites Hotel managed by Pyramid Hotel Group, owned by Michigan State University. The hotel comprises 128 suites and is uniquely positioned adjacent to MSU's 96,000-square-foot Executive Education Center. Guests enjoy exclusive access to amenities including the University Club dining facilities, health club, daycare, recreational facilities, and a scenic 18-hole championship golf course owned by MSU. The role in focus is for a Laundry Attendant who holds a vital position within the housekeeping team. Known as the Heart of the House, the Laundry Attendant is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care for guest linens and towels, directly impacting guest satisfaction and loyalty. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for washing, drying, ironing, and folding linens for guest rooms and catering events, as well as maintaining the laundry area and common spaces in a clean and organized manner. The role requires physical stamina to handle equipment and chemicals safely, to assist housekeeping and maintenance teams, and to uphold safety protocols to create a secure work environment.
