Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift and grasp
  • Must have sufficient mobility to operate in confined work areas
  • Must be able to work inside and outside the restaurant
  • Must handle all Denny’s menu products
  • Must be able to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
  • Must be able to hear well in loud environments
  • Must meet health risk regulations
  • Must handle potentially hazardous chemicals
  • Must tolerate extreme temperature changes
  • Must pass required tests and training
  • Must work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be dependable and able to learn instructions
  • Must communicate in English
  • Must value diversity and respect others

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared to brand standards
  • Must have basic math skills including understanding units of measure
  • Must meet health risk regulations regarding food handling
  • Must be able to pass required tests and training
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills
  • Must be dependable with ability to learn and follow instructions
  • Must communicate reasonably in English orally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to set recipes following brand standards for temperature and presentation
  • Honor guest requests for special orders
  • Correctly call the wheel
  • Clean, complete side work and organize supplies as required
  • Monitor waste and food cost controls
  • Assist other team members willingly
  • Provide total guest satisfaction
