Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- three plus years retail experience in upscale retail
- computer literate with Microsoft and other software knowledge
- excellent guest service, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to communicate pleasantly with proper grammar
- proficient typing and writing skills
- ability to compute basic mathematics
- ability to multitask
- regular attendance
- ability to work varying schedules
- comply with facility safety and operational rules
- maintain knowledge of all spa services and products
- ability to obtain and maintain Tribal Work Permit
- mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification
- Washington State Food Worker Card
- Hepatitis A vaccination
- complete NQRC Alcohol Server Training
- Hepatitis B shots
- ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 20 pounds
- ability to remain stationary for extended periods
- ability to communicate verbally
- ability to perform repetitive wrist and hand movements
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- three plus years of retail experience in an upscale retail environment such as a three-diamond spa, cosmetic boutique, or similar
- computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft programs and other software
- excellent guest service skills
- strong organizational and communication skills
- interpersonal skills with pleasant communication and proper grammar
- proficient typing and writing skills
- ability to perform basic mathematical computations
- ability to multitask between front desk operations, operational issues, and staff member needs
- completion of mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST)
- possession of Washington State Food Worker Card
- up-to-date Hepatitis A and B vaccinations
Job Duties
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and department policies and procedures
- promote and sell spa products and services
- schedule spa and salon services for individuals and groups using reservation software
- recommend and upsell spa services
- accurately input and access data in the computer system
- remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods
- operate point of sale process and handle cash and credit card transactions
- perform job functions with minimal supervision
- focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous
- promote positive relations with all individuals approaching the spa reception area
- think clearly and make concise decisions
- prioritize, organize and follow up
- focus attention on details
- greet each guest warmly and bid farewell
- dispense and serve wine
- answer telephone promptly using scripted spa etiquette
- accommodate guest requests expediently and courteously
- handle guest complaints positively ensuring guest satisfaction
- provide treatment providers with accurate daily schedules
- notify management of maintenance and service recovery issues
- perform any tasks assigned by management
- ensure accuracy of all monies and keep bank secure
- secure assigned keys
- access all computer system functions per spa specifications
- set up workstations and maintain cleanliness
- use guest names at all times
- attend required meetings and training sessions
- maintain consistent attendance record
- may serve as panelist for internal review hearings
- perform other duties as assigned by management
