Job Description

Walmart is a globally recognized retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores. Founded in 1962, Walmart has grown to become one of the largest multinational retailers, known for offering a wide range of products at competitive prices. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, innovation, and sustainability, Walmart continues to lead the retail industry while providing many career opportunities across various departments. The company values diversity, inclusion, and community involvement, offering a workplace where employees can grow professionally and contribute to Walmart's success.

We are currently hiring for the positions of Landscape Technicians and Landscape Crew Driver Technicians. These roles are vital to maintaining the aesthetic and operational quality of Walmart's facilities. The Landscape Technicians will be responsible for managing and executing facility maintenance projects such as landscaping, snow removal, and equipment servicing. This position involves planning work assignments, overseeing third-party providers, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Technicians play a critical role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for Walmart's properties.

The Landscape Crew Driver Technicians have similar responsibilities with the added requirement of safely operating heavy combination motor vehicles weighing between 10,001 and 26,000 lbs. This role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and successful completion of a driver’s road test specific to the vehicles operated. Both roles demand a strong work ethic, passion for outdoor work, and physical resilience to work in varying weather conditions. Employees in these roles help keep Walmart’s landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained, which directly impacts the shopping experience and community perception.

These full-time, in-person positions offer competitive benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision coverage, life insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, and a 401(k) savings plan. Working as a Landscape Technician or Crew Driver Technician at Walmart provides an opportunity to be part of a well-established company that values its employees and invests in their development. Join us in making a difference by contributing to the upkeep and beautification of Walmart facilities, ensuring they remain safe and welcoming for customers and staff alike.
