Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business, public administration or related field
- relevant experience in facility management or related sectors
- ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines
- ability to work under minimal supervision
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- professional attitude and appearance
- ability to travel occasionally
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work in high noise level environments
- capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- physical capability to stand, walk and stoop regularly
- able to perform repetitive eye/hand coordination tasks
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university in business or public administration or related fields or equivalent combination of education and experience
- experience in contract negotiation, business law, purchasing procedures, and supervising personnel
- experience in labor relations and union contracts if applicable
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational ability
- ability to work with highly confidential information
- ability to foster a cooperative environment among diverse interest groups
- knowledge of entertainment facility management principles and practices
- ability to anticipate problems and implement corrective actions
- ability to perform under industry pressures
- knowledge of event solicitation, presentation and planning
- knowledge of safety regulations and applicable laws
- strong customer service orientation toward hospitality and entertainment industry
- basic knowledge of facility operations, building maintenance, personnel and office management
- familiarity with computers, spreadsheets, word processing and standard office equipment
Job Duties
- maintains active contact with the client and contract administrator
- monitors legends compliance with all provisions of the services contract
- maintains relationship with all of client’s companies, sponsors, and related staff
- establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the client, tenants, government departments, entertainment industry, and community organizations
- assures the coordination, implementation and administration of training, safety, emergency procedures, crowd control and crisis management
- prepares and maintains required reports for the client and corporate office
- plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs activities and personnel engaged in maintaining and operating the facility
- conducts weekly staff and production meetings
- provides control of day-to-day operations and conducts post-event operational and financial review
- assures the integrity of the facility and legends in all communication
- ensures personnel administration and operation of plant complies with applicable regulations
- evaluates facility practices and recommends improvements
- recruits, trains, supervises, and evaluates administrative and supervisory staff
- establishes and maintains relationships with tenants, employees, labor vendors and general public
- oversees day of food and beverage execution and quality
- performs all other duties as assigned
