Job Requirements

Prior high-volume restaurant experience preferred
Required to be at least 18 years of age
Available to work on nights, holidays and/or weekends
Able to work in a fast-paced and loud environment in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Required to obtain and maintain a current food handler’s card and/or food safety certification
Requires bending, stretching, reaching, squatting, twisting, standing, walking up and down stairs and on flat surfaces, lifting (up to 50 pounds), interacting with guests and employees, problem solving, and cognitive skills
Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace

Job Duties

Load, operate, and unload dishwasher to specifications
Keep the dishwasher clean and report any functional or mechanical problems
Monitor dishwasher water temperature and chemical level to ensure sanitary wash cycle
Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware
Keep the dish room clean and organized
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware and plateware for auditoriums, bar, and kitchen
Monitor linen and trash containers and empty them when appropriate
Clean, sanitize, sweep, and mop all kitchen and lobby floors checking for broken items and wet areas that may be hazardous and address as necessary
Handle tableware and plateware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Clean and sanitize food preparation and production areas as required
