Job Description

Legends Global is a world leader in venue management and live event production, overseeing more than 450 iconic venues, including stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and theaters worldwide. The company brings a comprehensive, 360-degree, data-driven approach to partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, and attractions, collaborating with top-tier clients to deliver exceptional and memorable experiences. Legends Global is deeply committed to creating an inclusive and innovative work environment where diversity and different perspectives foster creative solutions that benefit its team members, guests, and business partners alike. With core values grounded in respect, integrity, and accountability, the organization cultivates a workplace culture where every employee has the opportunity to grow, succeed, and contribute to the transformation of live entertainment.

The opportunity is within the Los Angeles Convention Center, a premier venue situated in the heart of vibrant downtown Los Angeles. The convention center is recognized as a leading destination for conventions, trade shows, and exhibitions, and it prides itself on providing excellent service and exceeding the expectations of clients and attendees for every event. As an Event Manager I at Legends Global, you will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and execution of events held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This role demands a highly organized and proactive individual who can oversee events in their entirety — from initial site visits and planning discussions to the on-site management during the event and the follow-up billing and customer feedback collection.

The Event Manager I will work closely with various stakeholders, including event organizers, contractors, and internal team members, to create detailed event production plans that meet all client needs and adhere to safety and facility guidelines. A successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple events, troubleshooting arising issues efficiently, and providing on-the-ground leadership to ensure smooth event execution. This position requires a professional who can maintain open, transparent communication and collaborate effectively with clients, facility staff, and external partners.

This position is exempt and offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $82,000 annually. Candidates should be prepared for variable work schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the demands of live event management. The role requires reliable transportation and the physical ability to perform duties that occasionally involve lifting and walking extended periods.

Joining Legends Global as an Event Manager I means becoming part of an industry-leading team that is passionate about creating legendary experiences and continuously pushing the boundaries of what live events can be. With opportunities for professional growth, engagement in a dynamic sector, and the backing of a reputable leader, this career path offers fulfillment and challenge in equal measure.
