This unique opportunity is for a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician to join the Chattanooga team at ECS Limited. This is an entry-level position with no prior experience necessary, as paid training along with certification fees are covered by the company. In this role, you will work closely with experienced laboratory professionals to learn and undertake a variety of construction materials testing tasks, mainly focusing on concrete and soil samples. The position offers a pathway for growth and career development through certification advancement supported by ECS. You will gain hands-on experience performing standardized laboratory testing, assist in preparing samples, recording and processing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and documentation to comply with quality assurance and accreditation standards. The CMT Laboratory Technician role requires a dependable, self-motivated individual with attention to detail, strong communication, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times daily. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, are necessary, along with the ability to follow directions under supervision. This role may also involve some occasional fieldwork alongside laboratory duties.
