Currently, IEH Laboratories is seeking qualified candidates to join their team in the role of Laboratory Courier/Lab Aid. This full-time position is based at their Salinas facility and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $17.50, with an additional $2 per hour night shift differential. The Laboratory Courier/Lab Aid position plays a critical role in supporting laboratory operations by safely transporting food samples from various customers to the laboratory on a scheduled basis and assisting with general laboratory cleaning and maintenance tasks. The role demands individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

In this role, candidates must have a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record, meeting strict motor vehicle risk standards verified through ongoing monitoring. Candidates will be required to lift weights regularly — up to 30 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds — which is integral to managing sample transport duties effectively. The role offers rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts, as the laboratory operates 24/7. Flexibility is essential, as individuals will need to work some nights, weekends, and holidays.
