Job Requirements
- Associate degree in biology or a related field
- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm
- Ability to work in Omaha, NE
- No moderate-to-severe food allergies due to exposure risks
- Willingness to work full time
- Ability to work in person at the Omaha facility
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in biology or related field
- Experience with PCR and immunoassay techniques
- Knowledge of microbiological enumeration methods
- Proficient in laboratory data management and reporting
- Strong aseptic technique skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow strict laboratory protocols
Job Duties
- Analyze food samples for pathogens using PCR and immunoassay
- Conduct various microbe enumerations
- Perform laboratory data entry and reporting
- Ensure quality control of laboratory procedures
- Prepare and maintain microbiological media
- Follow aseptic techniques and laboratory safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned
