SATO America is currently seeking a detail-oriented, service-focused Quality Lab Specialist to enhance their quality assurance and testing capabilities. This role is critical in supporting product quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction by performing and coordinating laboratory testing activities that assure the integrity and performance of their labels, tags, and ribbons. The Quality Lab Specialist will maintain laboratory operations that align with the ISO 9001 standards, GLP, and customer-specific requirements. Their responsibilities include supporting incoming material verification to ensure raw materials meet quality expectations, assisting with product specification development and revision, and conducting validation testing to assess product performance and reliability. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments such as Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering, ensuring all activities meet the highest standards of quality control and continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves maintaining calibration schedules, equipment readiness, and traceability to recognized standards, as well as providing data-driven support for handling nonconforming products. The Quality Lab Specialist will help sustain a culture of quality that supports SATO’s ongoing mission of value creation, regulatory adherence, and sustainable growth.
