Job Requirements

  • must have working-level knowledge of the english language including reading, writing and speaking english
  • bachelor's degree from accredited university in medical technology or closely related field
  • minimum three years of clinical laboratory technologist experience
  • preferred five years of experience in quality, project management, or regulatory roles
  • current state of nevada clinical laboratory technologist license as a general supervisor required within seven months of hire
  • national certification as medical laboratory scientist preferred
  • must possess or obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days
  • knowledge of laboratory information systems
  • full-time availability
  • able to work in person at renown health location

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
  • minimum three years of clinical laboratory technologist experience
  • preferred five years of experience
  • knowledge of laboratory information systems
  • national certification as medical laboratory scientist (MLS) preferred
  • strong problem-solving skills
  • ability to communicate with diverse patient populations
  • proficiency in point of care testing and quality assurance
  • experience in regulatory compliance and laboratory accreditation

Job Duties

  • review procedure updates
  • evaluate work processes
  • assist in meeting accreditation and compliance standards
  • maintain operational quality and consistency of reporting
  • monitor analytical systems and automation lines
  • organize workload and complete quality control procedures
  • properly identify specimens and determine equipment functionality
