Job Requirements
- must have working-level knowledge of the english language including reading, writing and speaking english
- bachelor's degree from accredited university in medical technology or closely related field
- minimum three years of clinical laboratory technologist experience
- preferred five years of experience in quality, project management, or regulatory roles
- current state of nevada clinical laboratory technologist license as a general supervisor required within seven months of hire
- national certification as medical laboratory scientist preferred
- must possess or obtain necessary computer skills within 90 days
- knowledge of laboratory information systems
- full-time availability
- able to work in person at renown health location
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in medical technology or related field
- minimum three years of clinical laboratory technologist experience
- preferred five years of experience
- knowledge of laboratory information systems
- national certification as medical laboratory scientist (MLS) preferred
- strong problem-solving skills
- ability to communicate with diverse patient populations
- proficiency in point of care testing and quality assurance
- experience in regulatory compliance and laboratory accreditation
Job Duties
- review procedure updates
- evaluate work processes
- assist in meeting accreditation and compliance standards
- maintain operational quality and consistency of reporting
- monitor analytical systems and automation lines
- organize workload and complete quality control procedures
- properly identify specimens and determine equipment functionality
