This particular role is for a Senior Analyst SE&TC Support Engineer / Lab Lead focused on environmental testing and laboratory management. The position requires an active U.S. government security clearance at the DoD Secret level and emphasizes hands-on leadership in managing multiple engineering and environmental test laboratories. The Lab Lead will ensure safety, security, and compliance across various test environments, while guiding lab personnel and coordinating with cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and senior management. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental health and safety programs, property and metrology oversight, process improvement, and audit preparation. This is an onsite role based in McKinney, TX, offering a salary range of $68,900 to $131,100 depending on experience and qualifications.
The successful candidate will excel at problem-solving, coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders. They will lead initiatives to maintain adherence to established policies including OSHA, NFPA, NISPOM, and Export Administration Regulations. The Lab Lead will develop and execute plans to meet engineering objectives and voluntary protection programs, ensuring a secure and efficient operational environment. The role demands physical activity such as standing, walking, and occasional outdoor work, and may involve local and some travel outside the immediate area.

Job Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance at DoD Secret level prior to start
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Ability to work onsite in McKinney, TX
- Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
- Availability for local and occasional travel
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, and occasional outdoor work
- Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various levels of stakeholders
Job Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment
- Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
- Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
- Experience with safety, security, compliance and property management in an engineering lab
- Knowledge of EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Understanding and experience with Metrology and calibration practices
Job Duties
- Manage Lab Operating Procedures by providing direction for lab users on established policies
- Manage, coordinate, and implement Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainment programs
- Oversee Property and Metrology Management to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
- Conduct cost analyses and ensure task completion within approved budgets
- Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oversee audit and assessment preparation
- Lead Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program
- develop corrective action plans and long-term objectives
- Safeguard classified/proprietary materials, hardware, and documentation in compliance with Export Administration Regulations
- Develop and implement communication plans
- provide consulting support to functional and engineering management
- Influence stakeholders regarding policies, practices, and procedures
- Work autonomously with limited oversight, offering input, guidance, and problem-solving expertise
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and occasional outdoor work
- Travel locally as required, with occasional travel outside the local area
