Job Description
Boomtown Casino Hotel is a premier destination located in a vibrant setting known for its exciting gaming experiences and top-notch hospitality services. As a full-service hotel and casino, Boomtown prides itself on providing guests with not just entertainment, but also a welcoming and engaging atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. The establishment values its team members highly and strives to create an enriching workplace environment where they feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow professionally. The company culture revolves around teamwork, integrity, and delivering memorable guest experiences both on the gaming floor and behind the scenes. At Boomtown Casino Hotel, the mission is to offer a workplace where employees want to be and want to stay, promoting long-term career development while fostering lifelong friendships among colleagues and guests alike.
This mission extends through every level of the organization, from back-of-house staff and front-of-house attendants to management and executives. The team functions as a cohesive unit focused on delivering outstanding service in a fun, friendly, and professional environment. With a strong emphasis on employee satisfaction and guest engagement, Boomtown continually invests in training and development to enhance the skills of its workforce and maintain high standards of hospitality.
The role of Attendant at Boomtown Casino Hotel is an integral part of ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they enter the facility until they leave. As an Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming atmosphere, assist guests with their needs, and maintain an organized, safe environment at all times. The position is part-time and seasonal, operating from May through October, with shifts scheduled from 3 PM to 8 PM, five days a week. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
The Attendant acts as the face of the hotel and casino in many situations, greeting guests warmly and providing helpful information about the amenities and services available. This role requires strong communication skills, a calm and professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy, customer-facing environment. Additionally, the duties include escorting guests, monitoring their comfort, responding to inquiries, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting any concerns to management. Training, including propane safety, is provided to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal safety standards.
This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in social settings, enjoy helping others, and seek a collaborative workplace culture. The seasonal part-time nature of the job offers flexibility and a chance to gain valuable experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry at a respected casino hotel. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality customer service and want to be part of a team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for guests, then the Attendant opportunity at Boomtown Casino Hotel could be the perfect fit for you.
