Job Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of professional cooking experience
  • Ability to bend, stoop, walk and lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Food safety permit or ability to obtain one upon employment
  • Availability to work Monday to Sunday including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work full 8-hour shifts standing and walking

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of professional cooking experience

  • Food safety permit or ability to obtain one upon employment
  • Experience in Poke chef or Sushi chef role strongly preferred
  • Availability to work Monday to Sunday including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work full 8-hour shifts standing and walking
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment such as range, oven, fryer, and grill
  • Familiarity with food handling and storage regulations

Job Duties

  • Cut fish for poke including tuna, salmon, albacore, hamachi, tako
  • Make sushi rolls and sashimi preparation in back kitchen
  • Prepare kitchen orders and assist with ingredient prep for poke and sushi
  • Chop, cut, and slice vegetables and proteins using knife skills
  • Maintain clean kitchen and workstation, comply with food sanitation standards
  • Communicate ticket times to servers to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor product freshness and inspect food quality before service
