Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • ability to take written and verbal direction in English
  • ability to operate machines and equipment such as POS software and dishwashers
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • ability to support bartender without making or pouring alcoholic beverages
  • ability to clean and maintain assigned areas
  • ability to move efficiently around bar and kitchen areas

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
  • ability to speak English clearly
  • effective communication skills with customers and team members
  • ability to deal diplomatically with difficult situations and people
  • knowledge of operating POS software and kitchen equipment
  • general knowledge of the hotel and local area
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Prepare a variety of food products using kitchen equipment and utensils according to recipe cards
  • maintain the food preparation area in a clean and organized manner
  • deliver food and assist guests as needed
  • present a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture
  • support bartenders without making or pouring alcoholic beverages
  • communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas
