Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years old
- minimum of one year bartending experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform multiple roles including bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server
- ability to obtain and maintain company certifications
- ability to handle money and make change
- capability to operate POS systems and kitchen equipment
- strong interpersonal and professionalism skills
- ability to manage difficult guests and situations
- availability to work the 4PM to 1AM shift
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years old or older
- one year bartending experience required
- two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- completion of two years of college preferred
- ability to take written and verbal direction in English
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve a variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server
- ability to obtain and maintain certifications
- ability to handle money and make change
- ability to operate machines and equipment
- ability to deal diplomatically with difficult situations
- ability to open and close bar and maintain necessary supplies
- ability to distinguish different currency denominations
Job Duties
- open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
- maintain the food prep and bar area in a clean and organized manner
- serve and assist guests with drinks and hospitality
- handle money accurately and operate POS systems
- obtain and maintain all necessary certifications
- operate kitchen and bar equipment
- diplomatically manage difficult situations and lead team members when needed
