This role at Drury Hotels is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in the hotel industry. As a bartender opening and closing the hotel kitchen and bar, you will play an essential role in maintaining high standards of service and hospitality. The position offers starting pay of $18.00 per hour with shift hours from 4PM to 1AM, combining evening work with a schedule that supports work-life balance. As a bartender, you will be responsible for managing multiple duties including bartending, food prep, and ensuring smooth bar operations. You will be required to uphold cleanliness standards and assist guests with a courteous and helpful approach. The role calls for someone who is adept at handling money accurately, using point-of-sale (POS) systems, and managing bar inventory. Attention to detail, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should have a minimum of one year’s experience in bartending, with supervisory experience preferred, and be able to communicate effectively in English. Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years old
- minimum of one year bartending experience
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to mix and serve drinks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform multiple roles including bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server
- ability to obtain and maintain company certifications
- ability to handle money and make change
- capability to operate POS systems and kitchen equipment
- strong interpersonal and professionalism skills
- ability to manage difficult guests and situations
- availability to work the 4PM to 1AM shift
Job Qualifications
- must be 21 years old or older
- one year bartending experience required
- two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred

- completion of two years of college preferred
