Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Completion of two years of college preferred
  • Ability to open and close bar and obtain supplies
  • Ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
  • Ability to operate cash register, POS software, dishwashers, and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to diplomatically handle difficult guests and situations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of bartending experience required
  • Two or more years of bartender and supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to mix and serve drinks efficiently
  • Ability to obtain and maintain certifications required by the company
  • Ability to use office machines and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally

Job Duties

  • Open and close the hotel kitchen and bar following company policies and procedures
  • Maintain the food prep and bar areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Serve and assist guests with beverage needs
  • Mix and serve a wide variety of drinks in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform duties of bartender, prep cook, and cocktail server as needed
  • Handle money, make change, and operate POS and cash registers
  • Answer questions about the hotel, area, and events with general knowledge
