The position available is a seasonal Kitchen Support role under the supervision of the Executive Chef, available both part-time and full-time between April 1 and October 2026. This role is fundamental to the Club's kitchen operations, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the essential duties of washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and managing waste efficiently while supporting the culinary team in other general kitchen duties. Operating in a fast-paced and sometimes physically demanding environment, this role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude to maintain high standards of sanitation and order. The hourly wage for this position is $21, reflecting the importance of the role in contributing to a clean and efficient kitchen operation. Job Duties
- Washes all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand
- cleans, stores and organizes all equipment and wares in designated areas
- collects trash from kitchen areas
- empties garbage cans and cleans as needed
- breaks down boxes, crates and places debris in proper receptacles
- washes and polishes kitchen equipment, floors and cooking and storage areas
- sweeps and mops kitchen floors assuring they remain clean, dry, and clear of debris
- continuously inspects floors in kitchen areas to assure they remain clean, dry and clear of debris
- cleans dish machine and dish area according to pre-established schedule
- maintains inventories of soap, chemicals and paper towels
- transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
- assists in completing scheduled kitchen cleaning and maintenance list
- uses and stores all chemical cleaning supplies in a safe manner
- performs other appropriate duties as assigned by manager
- examines garbage for misplaced wares and other reusable items
- performs other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, receiving and storing inventory
