This opportunity is for the position of a Food Service Supervisor, based in a multi-unit facility where multiple kitchens operate within a single location or campus. The role is pivotal in ensuring smooth kitchen operations, overseeing inmate trustees and team members engaged in food preparation, serving, and clean-up activities. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining sanitation, safety, and compliance with internal policies as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of food service experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with kitchen equipment operation
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
- Basic accounting and math skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
