Job Description
Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., founded in Glendale, California, in 1983, is the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With close to 2,800 locations globally, Panda is committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering an inspiring workplace culture rooted in family values. The company prides itself on creating a positive, supportive work environment where employees can thrive, develop their skills, and build meaningful friendships with their colleagues. Panda also emphasizes community engagement through initiatives like Panda Cares, which allow employees to give back to the communities they serve.
We are currently seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join our team as Kitchen Team Associates. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and want to grow their careers in the food service industry. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will play a key role in cooking delicious food, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. No previous experience is necessary, as Panda provides comprehensive hands-on training to help you succeed and advance. This position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to learn valuable skills that can benefit your career development.
In this position, you will be expected to work efficiently across various areas of the restaurant, including the kitchen, front counter, and drive-through, adapting to different tasks as needed. You will contribute to maintaining the appearance of our establishments and uphold operational standards to ensure all food served meets our quality and safety guidelines. Teamwork is a fundamental aspect of this role, and you'll work alongside supportive colleagues to meet daily goals in a fun and positive atmosphere. Additionally, employees in this role will have the chance to participate in Panda’s community outreach programs, making a positive impact beyond just the workplace.
We prioritize employee well-being and growth, making this more than just a typical kitchen job. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time associates, 401K with company match, paid time off, and more. We also offer associate discounts, referral bonuses, and career advancement opportunities into management positions. This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a sometimes hot and noisy environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic work setting are essential for success. Join Panda Restaurant Group and be part of a company that values inclusion, equal opportunity, and personal development.
