Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
  • previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required
  • experience in food handling food service or restaurant environments is advantageous
  • familiarity with culinary techniques such as knife skills meal preparation and cooking methods is beneficial
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices is highly valued
  • exposure to catering or large-scale meal preparation environments can enhance your application

Job Duties

  • Assist with food preparation tasks including chopping slicing mixing and assembling ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications
  • support cooking activities by following safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
  • handle food with care ensuring proper storage handling and sanitation practices to meet food safety standards
  • participate in menu planning discussions and contribute ideas for new dishes or improvements to existing offerings
  • serve food efficiently and courteously during meal service ensuring timely delivery and presentation
  • maintain organized workstations including cleaning utensils equipment and work surfaces regularly
  • collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of quality and safety
