The Kitchen Team Member position at Cinebarre is classified according to location needs and employee availability, offering opportunity as a variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly role. The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Team Member is to prepare high quality menu items and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This role demands a genuine concern for quality control and a commitment to following standardized recipes, portioning, and serving standards to ensure consistent product delivery across all shifts. The ideal candidate will be attentive, organized, and able to work efficiently within a team setting, collaborating with managers, cooks, and servers to ensure timely meal preparation and excellent customer experience.
In addition to culinary preparation, this role requires detailed knowledge of proper food storage, inventory management, health and safety compliance, and equipment handling. The Kitchen Team Member must demonstrate extensive knowledge of food safety rules, health department regulations, and emergency protocols to guarantee safe operation within the kitchen. Maintaining accurate records, completing daily kitchen logs, and handling ingredients and stock with care are essential elements of the position.
The role also requires a positive and professional attitude towards guests and coworkers, including responsibilities such as greeting guests with a smile, responding to questions and complaints in a timely manner, and helping to ensure guest satisfaction. Training such as the Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server certification and safe food handling (ServeSafe certification preferred) is part of the role's development. Physical demands of the position include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 60 pounds, and being able to perform various kitchen tasks efficiently and safely. Job Requirements
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- completion of legally required state or local training and certification
- 1 plus years experience working as a cook in the restaurant industry
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- good communication skills

- must be trained on safety data sheets SDS
- obtain food handlers card where applicable
- comply with health department rules and regulations
- maintain excellent personal hygiene
Job Qualifications
- One plus years experience as a cook in the restaurant industry
- ability to read and follow standardized recipes and strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
- completion of cast certification program as a cast member and concessionist or progress towards completion
- completed necessary state or local training and obtained required certificate
- completed Regal Entertainment Responsible Beverage Server training
- ServeSafe certification preferred
- possess good public speaking and effective listening skills
- ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- identify and solve problems based on evidence
- excellent communication skills
- able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- remain knowledgeable on all food menu items including specials and promotions
- ensure that all food menu items are consistently prepared and served per recipes portioning and serving standards
- keep updated on recipe changes
- measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
- collaborate with managers cooks and servers to prepare meals timely
- plate food according to proper procedures
