Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in kitchen or food preparation preferred
  • ability to follow instructions accurately
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • reliable transportation

  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in kitchen, food service, or restaurant prep preferred
  • basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • ability to follow recipes and instructions with accuracy
  • strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standards
  • assist with cooking and assembling menu items under the direction of the chef or line cook
  • follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • properly store, label, and rotate food items to maintain freshness and quality
  • maintain a clean, organized kitchen, including prep areas, equipment, and utensils
  • monitor food inventory and report low stock, shortages, or expired items
  • receive, inspect, and store food deliveries following proper procedures
  • support dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen cleaning duties
  • remove trash and maintain cleanliness of all work areas
  • perform additional kitchen duties as assigned
