The company operates from a state-of-the-art five-story home office that offers employees top-notch amenities and a supportive work environment where every team member's contributions are recognized and valued. This stellar work culture and commitment to values provide a strong foundation for employee success and satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Team Member to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food and eager to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Kitchen Team Member will play a critical role in supporting daily kitchen operations. Responsibilities include food preparation such as washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients following established recipes and kitchen standards. The candidate will assist with cooking and assembling menu items under the guidance of chefs or line cooks. Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and health regulations is a critical part of the role to ensure quality and compliance. In addition, this position involves properly storing, labeling, and rotating food items to maintain freshness and quality.

A key aspect of the role involves maintaining a clean, organized kitchen, including all prep areas, equipment, and utensils, as well as monitoring and managing food inventory by reporting low stock or expired items. The Kitchen Team Member will also be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing food deliveries following proper procedures. Support for dishwashing, sanitation, and general kitchen cleaning duties is expected, along with managing trash removal and keeping all work areas clean and safe. Candidates will have the opportunity to perform additional kitchen tasks as assigned, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a kitchen, food service, or restaurant preparation environment, although this is preferred and not mandatory. A basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment, along with the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, is essential. Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and effective time management will enable the candidate to excel in this role. Being team-oriented, possessing good communication skills, and the physical endurance to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds are important. Reliable transportation is also required to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to become part of a dynamic and supportive team within SRM Concrete’s inspiring work culture.
