The Kitchen Team Lead position is essential to maintaining the high standards City Market Co-Op is known for in its Prepared Foods department. This non-exempt, Grade 6 position under union representation (UE Local 203) focuses on overseeing the kitchen team to ensure consistent, high-quality food production aligned with food safety practices. With a starting wage of $20.53 per hour, this role reports directly to Prepared Foods Management and serves all city market locations.

This leadership role involves daily inventory checks and adherence to established policies regarding operational standards, workplace safety, and security.

The ideal candidate has a passion for food, especially natural and local products, along with culinary skills and team leadership experience. You will have the opportunity to work within a cooperative that values community engagement and growing a healthy local food system.
