The role of the Team Leader at Chick-fil-A Petaluma is integral to the smooth daily operation of the restaurant and the development of its staff. The position is available in both full-time and part-time capacities, offering flexibility for varied schedules, including the requirement to open or close the restaurant on different days of the week, including weekends.

They are trusted with opening and closing the restaurant, handling cash, managing shift routines, and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and a heart of service. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Willing and able to work a flexible schedule opening or closing the restaurant a variety of weekdays and on both Fridays and Saturdays
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes standing for the entirety of your shift and lifting over 30 lbs
  • Provide genuine hospitality to guests with a heart of service
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong people skills with a desire to serve team members
  • Strong commitment to superior customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Actively participate in daily operations in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Maintain Chick-fil-A's food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards at all times
  • Assist in training team members, set the tone for each shift, and serve as a role model for the team
  • Lead by example as a friendly, encouraging, and dependable team player
  • Open and/or close the restaurant, lead shifts, and act as a key holder
  • Ensure consistent execution of established restaurant systems (hospitality, food safety, cleanliness, scheduling, cash handling, etc.) to maintain operational excellence
  • Maintain accountability for shift systems such as checklists, line-up routines, and handoff procedures to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and servant leadership
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A expectations, standards, and dress code at all times
  • Other duties as assigned
