Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is a leading family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept that has been delighting guests since its founding in 1983 in Glendale, California. Today, it operates nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, making it the largest family-owned chain in its category. The company is passionately committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture where employees feel valued and inspired to improve their lives. Embracing strong family values, Panda Restaurant Group promotes teamwork and community involvement through initiatives like Panda Cares, which encourages employees to give back and make a difference in their communities.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join us as Kitchen Team Associates. This role is vital in ensuring guests receive delicious food prepared with the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be part of a dynamic work environment where the team supports one another and enjoys coming to work each day. Whether you have prior experience or are just starting out, Panda Restaurant Group offers comprehensive training to help you succeed and grow your skills. This position provides a great opportunity for career advancement within the company or to build valuable skills transferable to the wider food service industry.

The Kitchen Team Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment while preparing and serving quality food items efficiently in a fast-paced setting. You will interact directly with guests, greeting them warmly, serving food, and handling payments at the cash register when needed. Your commitment to following operational standards and safety procedures ensures that every guest enjoys a fresh, satisfying dining experience. Team members who thrive in this role have excellent communication skills, can adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a fun, positive atmosphere that helps the entire team meet their daily goals.

This position requires physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and use kitchen equipment skillfully, including knives and steam tables. Attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety are paramount, as the kitchen environment can be hot and noisy. Panda Restaurant Group is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act to support qualified individuals in successfully performing their job duties.

At Panda Restaurant Group, being "Panda Strong" means more than just working hard; it means being part of a diverse, welcoming family that values respect, inclusivity, and continuous learning. If you want to be part of an organization that supports your personal growth, values your contributions, and invites you to impact your community, join us as a Kitchen Team Associate. Let’s work together to create outstanding dining experiences and grow our Panda family.
