Job Description
Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., founded in Glendale, California in 1983, is the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, Panda Restaurant Group is renowned for delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences through its well-established brands. The company prides itself on fostering a family-oriented culture, emphasizing values that inspire team members to improve their lives and positively impact the communities where they operate. As a leading player in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, Panda Restaurant Group continually commits to innovation, quality, and community involvement, notably through its Panda Cares initiative, which supports charitable causes that make meaningful differences locally and beyond.
The role of Kitchen Team Associate at Panda Restaurant Group offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Whether you are experienced or looking to start a career in the food service industry, this position provides comprehensive training to ensure you succeed. Kitchen Team Associates are integral to maintaining the high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness that Panda champions. This full-time or part-time position gives employees the chance to work alongside friendly, supportive team members who foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere where collaboration and mutual respect are paramount.
As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be responsible for cooking delicious food, greeting guests, serving meals, and operating the cash register when necessary. The role also involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant to ensure a welcoming dining environment that meets operational and safety standards. Working efficiently in multiple kitchen stations — such as front counter, drive-through, or kitchen — the team member will contribute to meeting daily goals and creating memorable guest experiences. The position promises the opportunity to grow by gaining valuable skills that can propel your career forward, whether within Panda Restaurant Group or in the broader hospitality sector.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in active, communal settings and are eager to learn new tasks while helping serve customers with excellence. Besides offering competitive pay, Panda Restaurant Group emphasizes providing a safe and supportive workspace where team members become like friends. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment, welcoming diverse applicants and adhering to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines for workplace accommodations. If you are motivated, friendly, and ready to embark on a rewarding career path, the Kitchen Team Associate position at Panda Restaurant Group could be your perfect fit.
