Job Description
Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., established in 1983 and headquartered in Glendale, California, is the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, boasting nearly 2,800 locations worldwide. The company has grown exponentially from its origins to become a global leader in the Asian dining industry, known for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Emphasizing strong family values and a commitment to community involvement through initiatives such as Panda Cares, Panda Restaurant Group fosters a work culture where employees are inspired to improve their lives while contributing positively to their communities. The organization stands firm in its dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion, embracing every individual without discrimination based on a variety of protected characteristics, and complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide reasonable accommodations throughout the employment process.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our dynamic team as Kitchen Team Associates. This role is essential in creating the exceptional dining experience that guests have come to expect by preparing and serving delicious food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Kitchen Team Associates at Panda Restaurant Group are celebrated team players who thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere where collaboration and positivity are key. Regardless of your previous experience in food service or kitchen operations, we provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills necessary to succeed and grow within the company. The position offers more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to build a career with a supportive team that values development and upward mobility.
As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will gain hands-on experience in various operational aspects including food preparation, customer service at the front counter and drive-through, cash register handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. This role requires adaptability and efficiency, as you may rotate through different positions during your shift to meet daily goals. Panda Restaurant Group values employee well-being and fosters a workplace where team members support each other, encouraging both professional growth and personal friendships. This role also offers the meaningful chance to give back to the community, aligning with our mission to create a positive impact beyond the restaurant walls. If you are motivated by working in a team-oriented environment and are eager to learn and develop new skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
