Job Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience in a fast paced restaurant setting
  • possess a service-oriented mindset with a desire to deliver the highest quality food while helping the team
  • clear and effective communication skills
  • basic understanding of or ability to learn sanitation and safety regulations
  • basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
  • weekend, evening, and holiday availability is a must
  • ability to stay organized and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • possess and maintain appropriate food safety certifications such as Food Handlers Card
  • ability to comply with safety provisions in a hazardous working environment
  • ability to physically perform job duties including standing, lifting, and handling kitchen tools

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience in a fast paced restaurant setting
  • experience as a pizza maker is a plus
  • clear and effective communication skills
  • possess and maintain all appropriate certifications including Food Handlers Card and relevant training
  • basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and cooking procedures
  • ability to work well in a team
  • previous hospitality or service industry experience is a plus
  • ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks
  • service-oriented mindset with a desire to deliver quality food

Job Duties

  • Prepare dough and make fresh sauce
  • chop toppings including meats and vegetables
  • bake pizzas and prepare other menu items such as appetizers and sides
  • operate large-volume cooking equipment like griddles, grills, and deep fryers
  • cook food according to orders and verify quality and quantity
  • multitask to handle multiple orders simultaneously
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cooking stations, dishes, and utensils
  • monitor food inventory and replace supplies
  • perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned
  • follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
