As an organization, Panda Restaurant Group fosters a safe, supportive, and inclusive workplace where individuals from varied backgrounds feel valued and have opportunities to grow their careers.
The Kitchen Team Associate role at Panda offers a unique opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment while contributing to providing guests with high-quality, freshly prepared food. Associates in this position are critical to ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied with their dining experience, thanks to friendly service, clean and safe food preparation practices, and maintaining store appearance. The role is well-suited for team players who are eager to learn and develop their skills on the job, as training is provided even for those without prior experience. This position is hourly paid, ranging from $22 to $25 per hour depending on location and experience, making it an attractive choice for both entry-level candidates and individuals seeking career growth within the food service industry. In addition to competitive pay, Panda supports its associates with flexible scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and career advancement opportunities. Employees receive hands-on training, ongoing leadership development programs, and the potential to move into management roles. The role requires standing for extended periods and physically handling kitchen equipment and food items up to 50 pounds, highlighting the need for stamina and effective communication skills in a demanding but rewarding work environment.
Working at Panda also means being part of a company committed to equal opportunity employment. Panda Restaurant Group provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities and is dedicated to maintaining diversity and inclusion in its workforce by adhering strictly to federal, state, and local laws. Associates are encouraged not only to thrive professionally but also to give back to their communities, strengthening Panda’s standing as a socially responsible employer.
