Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs
- flexible schedule with availability to fill in as needed
- weekend availability
- passionate about cooking and reliable
- willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented atmosphere
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience as a prep cook or line cook preferred but not required
- food handler certification or willingness to obtain
- excellent multitasking and time-management skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients and menu items according to Dog Haus standard recipes and procedures
- maintain a clean and organized workstation, including food prep areas, equipment, and utensils
- ensure food meets Dog Haus' high standards of quality and presentation
- work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- follow safety and sanitation guidelines (OSHA/HACCP compliance)
- assist in keeping the kitchen clean and well-organized
- become proficient in all back-of-house roles including grill, assembly, fry, and prep
