Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs
  • flexible schedule with availability to fill in as needed
  • weekend availability
  • passionate about cooking and reliable
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented atmosphere

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience as a prep cook or line cook preferred but not required
  • food handler certification or willingness to obtain
  • excellent multitasking and time-management skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients and menu items according to Dog Haus standard recipes and procedures
  • maintain a clean and organized workstation, including food prep areas, equipment, and utensils
  • ensure food meets Dog Haus' high standards of quality and presentation
  • work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • follow safety and sanitation guidelines (OSHA/HACCP compliance)
  • assist in keeping the kitchen clean and well-organized
  • become proficient in all back-of-house roles including grill, assembly, fry, and prep
