With nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, Panda Restaurant Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences to its customers. The company has grown significantly since its inception but continues to uphold its family values, focusing on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for both its team members and the communities it serves. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Panda Restaurant Group is committed to providing a workplace free from discrimination and making reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This commitment ensures that everyone has an equal chance to succeed and grow within the company.
Join us as a Kitchen Team Associate, where you will play a vital role in the success of our restaurant operations. This position is perfect for friendly, motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team. The Kitchen Team Associate is responsible for cooking delicious food while adhering to the highest safety and cleanliness standards. Even if you have no prior experience, the company provides hands-on paid training to help you develop the skills necessary to thrive. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and will have the opportunity to rotate between various positions, including front counter, drive-thru, and kitchen stations.
This role offers more than just a job; it provides a chance to build a rewarding career with opportunities for advancement into leadership and management positions. Panda Restaurant Group emphasizes ongoing career and leadership development to help team members grow professionally. Additionally, associates become part of a positive, fun workplace culture where teamwork and mutual respect are valued. Beyond the workplace, you will also have opportunities to give back to the community through Panda Cares, the company’s philanthropy initiative.
As a Kitchen Team Associate, your daily responsibilities involve greeting guests, serving food, managing payments, maintaining store cleanliness, and following operational standards and safety procedures to ensure the food’s quality and freshness. The role requires stamina and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Employees must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work efficiently under the often hot and noisy conditions typical of a commercial kitchen.
The company offers flexible schedules to accommodate various lifestyles and commitments, making it easier for team members to balance work and personal life. Compensation includes competitive pay, free meals while working, and extensive medical benefits for full-time associates, including medical, vision, dental, and voluntary short-term disability insurance. Panda Restaurant Group also provides health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with employer match, vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, associate discounts, referral bonuses, and other employee benefits.
Panda Restaurant Group is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where you can grow, learn new skills, and achieve your career goals. Come join a team where your contributions matter and where you can thrive in a vibrant and respected brand that values diversity, inclusion, and community impact.
