With close to 2,800 locations globally, Panda Express, a leading brand under its umbrella, is committed to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences. The company embraces strong family values and fosters an inspiring work environment where employees can thrive and better their lives. This dedication to community impact and employee development sets Panda apart in the casual dining industry.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Kitchen Team Associates. This entry-level position is vital to maintaining the high standards of food quality and customer service that Panda is known for. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be responsible for cooking delicious food in a fast-paced, supportive environment while adhering to the strictest standards of cleanliness and safety. We welcome applicants who may not have prior experience as comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed.
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to work at different stations including the front counter, drive-through, and kitchen areas, gaining a broad understanding of restaurant operations. The position involves directly engaging with guests by greeting them, serving food, and handling payments at the cash register, which helps build valuable customer service skills. Team collaboration is essential as you work alongside fellow associates to meet daily operational goals in a positive and energetic setting.
The position offers flexible schedules and great pay ranging from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on location and experience. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and other insurance options, 401K with company match, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement through ongoing leadership development programs. Panda also promotes community involvement through its Panda Cares initiative, providing a meaningful way to give back.
Working as a Kitchen Team Associate at Panda is more than just a job; it is a stepping stone for future career growth. The company offers hands-on paid training designed to prepare you for long-term success in the hospitality industry. Whether your goal is to grow into management or develop skills applicable in various fields, this role provides a supportive environment to help you achieve those aspirations. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced, often hot and noisy kitchen environment. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to work well under pressure are critical to thriving in this role.
Panda is committed to equal opportunity employment and ensuring a workplace free of discrimination based on protected characteristics such as gender, race, age, disability, and more. Reasonable accommodations are available to candidates who require assistance during the hiring process.
Join Panda Restaurant Group and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional food, outstanding service, and positive community impact. With its strong foundation and dedication to its people, Panda offers not just a job but a meaningful career path where you can learn, grow, and succeed.
