Job Description

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc., founded in 1983 in Glendale, California, has grown to be the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. With nearly 2,800 locations worldwide, Panda Restaurant Group is dedicated to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences to its guests while upholding strong family values and fostering a supportive, inclusive workplace environment. The company’s ethos centers on inspiring its team members to improve their own lives, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and grow their careers within a dynamic and thriving business. The brand is renowned not only for its fresh and delicious cuisine but also for its commitment to community involvement through initiatives like Panda Cares, which allows employees to make a positive impact outside of work.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and friendly individuals to join our team as Kitchen Team Associates. This role emphasizes teamwork, food quality, safety, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Team Associate, you will be integral to the guest experience at Panda, responsible for preparing delicious meals with a high standard of quality while maintaining cleanliness and operational standards throughout the store. This position is perfect for those who thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere and those eager to learn new skills, whether they have previous food service experience or are starting fresh, as Panda Restaurant Group provides comprehensive paid training to set you up for success.

Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, serving food efficiently, handling payments, working various positions such as the front counter, drive-through, or kitchen, and ensuring a clean, safe environment that aligns with company protocols. The role demands stamina, ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, and a positive attitude to help maintain a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests and fellow team members alike. Panda values growth and development, offering ongoing career and leadership development programs designed to help you advance within the company, potentially moving into management roles. Alongside career growth opportunities, Panda fosters an environment where every employee is encouraged to engage with the community and contribute through the Panda Cares initiative.

This is a part-time or full-time position with competitive pay ranging from $22 to $25 per hour, determined by your experience and work location. Along with the hourly wage, Panda offers a robust benefits package for eligible associates, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, a 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off including vacation, sick leave, and bereavement, and various employee discounts. The company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion is reflected in its non-discriminatory hiring practices and accommodation policies, ensuring equitable opportunities for all applicants and employees, including those with disabilities. If you are looking for a career in the food industry with a company dedicated to people, community, and quality, Panda Restaurant Group invites you to apply and join their dedicated team of professionals.
