The center operates as a supportive environment where individuals receive guidance, care, and resources necessary to complete their rehabilitation successfully. This organization relies heavily on the dedication and hard work of its employees to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of its various programs. Employees are considered the backbone of TSA ARC, and their commitment directly contributes to the center's mission and the well-being of its beneficiaries.
The Adult Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Kitchen Supervisor to join their team. This full-time role offers a pay rate of $18.50 per hour with a scheduled 37.5 hours per week, presenting an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about food service management and helping others in a rehabilitative setting. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the kitchen operations, ensuring that meal preparation, food safety, and kitchen sanitation are executed efficiently and up to the highest standards. The position requires leadership in training and supervising kitchen personnel and beneficiaries, overseeing inventory and ordering of food supplies, and maintaining relationships with suppliers, including the local Food Bank.
In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling kitchen workloads to meet timely meal preparation and service, ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment, and managing the petty cash bank used for food purchases. You will collaborate closely with administrators in menu planning and special events, as well as work with professional staff to address beneficiary needs. The position demands adherence to established personnel policies and safety regulations, fostering a safe and supportive working environment for all personnel.
Working at TSA ARC means becoming part of a community-focused organization dedicated to making a significant difference in the lives of those in recovery. The Adult Rehabilitation Center operates seven days a week, and employees are expected to be flexible with work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure consistent coverage. This role offers the potential for career growth within the organization, supportive management, a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, wellness program incentives, retirement plans, and more. Employees also benefit from additional perks like employee assistance programs, store discounts, and referral bonuses, emphasizing the organization's commitment to employee well-being and satisfaction.
