Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Line Cook, Lead Line Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity
  • Attentive and detailed oriented
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements and proportions
  • No college degree required
  • Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Format, maintain, and update recipe cards, costing sheets, inventory logs, and order guides to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the kitchen team
  • Assist with documenting recipe development and ensure alignment with portioning standards and cost control goals
  • Oversee ordering and receiving processes, verify deliveries, maintain vendor records, and support waste reduction through regular inventory checks
  • Collaborate with chefs, kitchen team members, and front-of-house supervisors to ensure operational consistency and uphold food safety, sanitation, and allergen control standards
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen team members in back-of-house systems, inventory procedures, and administrative tasks
