The Patina Group at Delaware North is currently seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to join the team at Centrico and Tiendita in Anaheim, California. This role is available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering an hourly pay rate between $25.00 and $26.00. The Kitchen Supervisor position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced kitchen environments and are passionate about delivering quality service and food consistently. The role involves leading a team of kitchen staff, ensuring high standards in food preparation, presentation, and sanitation while maintaining efficiency and cost control in the kitchen. A key part of the job is to supervise and support culinary operations, verifying recipe adherence, portion sizes, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience as a line cook, lead line cook, or kitchen supervisor
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others in a leadership capacity
  • Attentive and detailed oriented with basic math skills to understand, calculate and follow recipe measurements
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • No college degree required

Job Duties

  • Supervise food prep maintaining quality, presentation, and sanitation standards, while verifying recipes, portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures are maintained
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is working efficiently, supervising team members with cleaning and food production in their areas, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers, as well as supervising proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food
  • Actively maintain food cost within parameters set by culinary leadership
  • Perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
