Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of relevant culinary experience
- physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- strong leadership qualities and communication skills
- willingness to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- ability to implement and enforce safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Culinary arts or culinary certificate preferred
- two or more years of experience in large, complex food service operations
- demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage programs, hospitality, and brand management
- strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
- proficiency in training and motivating kitchen staff
- excellent written and verbal communication
- ability to empower team members and encourage collaboration
Job Duties
- Oversee all kitchen-related tasks including opening and closing procedures
- monitor equipment operability and ensure proper use of kitchen tools
- conduct regular food safety and sanitation walkthroughs
- supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen team members
- assist Kitchen Management with inventory management and kitchen organization
- ensure quality control in food preparation and presentation
- train kitchen staff on safety techniques and operational procedures
- maintain cleanliness, repairs and maintenance, and organization in the kitchen
- report equipment repairs and workplace incidents to management
- perform additional duties as assigned
