The role being offered is a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage position, specifically designed for individuals passionate about culinary arts and hospitality. The position comes with an hourly pay rate of $30.50 and is based at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. This position primarily involves supervising and coordinating the activities of the kitchen staff, ensuring that food presentation, portion sizes, and garnishing align with the hotel’s high standards. The person in this role will also be responsible for monitoring the quality and quantity of food prepared, managing kitchen stock levels, and maintaining essential food safety logs. Interaction with Food & Beverage service staff is crucial to communicate menu specials and unavailable items, helping to manage guest expectations efficiently.
