Job Requirements

- prior experience in a kitchen setting
- ability to stand for long periods
- good communication skills

Job Duties
- Oversee all kitchen employees
- train and develop new employees
- assist kitchen staff as needed
- maintain organization and cleanliness of kitchen
- ensure food is made to specification
- update spec books
- supervise proper kitchen opening and closing duties
- manage prep lists and line checks daily
- ensure walk-ins and storage areas are stocked properly
- monitor inventory levels and communicate concerns to Kitchen Manager
- enforce sanitation rules
- perform food preparation duties
- run kitchen from expo line when needed
- act as the expo during busy times
- communicate operational needs and report broken equipment to Kitchen Manager
